START OF STUDIES AND SURPLUS
The month of September means the start of studies for many young people. Either they have to start a completely new course, or they have to return to the course for a new semester. Many young people are looking forward to the start of their studies and to getting started with everyday life again. However, starting studies can bring challenges for both new and old students. These challenges can be both on the professional level, the social level, the economic level or something completely fourth. There can be a lot to look after for the students here at the beginning of autumn, and it can sometimes seem unmanageable to find time and energy for it all.
BACK TO THE ROUTINE AGAIN
There are several ways to tackle the busy study time. We have teamed up with Amalie, who is going back to her studies in the 5th semester, to hear a little about how she feels about starting studies and how she remembers herself in a busy everyday life. For Amalie, it's great to get back to work after the holidays and see so many of her fellow students again, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic led to a shutdown and virtual teaching for almost a year and a half. However, she can also feel that she may well be tired during the day when there is so much to look after. Therefore, it is important for Amalie to create a fixed routine with some good habits in order to get the best profit in an otherwise busy everyday life.
A good routine for Amalie is regular exercise, three meals a day and communication with her loved ones when she finds it necessary. It is also important for her to find time to recharge so that she is ready for the busy everyday life again. She does this by making time for the little things in everyday life. Time to cook dinner or time to relax in front of the TV with a good series. Otherwise, she tries to go to bed early as much as possible, so that she can get into gear without falling asleep too late.
MORE ENERGY EVERYDAY
Tiredness in a busy everyday life is not abnormal, and Amalie as a student also experiences it. Exercise, sensible food and good sleep are three things that Amalie uses to get more energy in her busy student life. However, there may be days when she simply doesn't have time to think about these things, and when she can't take care of herself properly. Here she mentions eace gum as a helping hand in her everyday life. Fatigue and exhaustion can be caused by many things, including vitamin deficiency, and one piece of chewing gum from eace gum contains 25% of the recommended daily intake of 10 essential vitamins.
Amalie mentions that she is bad at remembering to take her vitamin pills, and therefore eace gum is useful in her everyday life. Because although Amalie can forget her vitamin pills, she is used to chewing gum every day, and with eace gum she can get her vitamins while chewing on the daily piece of gum. In this way, Amalie gets a little more energy in an otherwise busy everyday life, which gives more profit for a good start to her studies. For Amalie, profit at the start of studies is paramount for the rest of her semester, and therefore she hopes that her good advice can inspire other students.
