Eace Gum has launched a new design for their vitamin chewing gum. The new packaging has been launched for just over a week, but why has the Danish-produced vitamin chewing gum been given a new look?
In this blog post, you have the opportunity to hear the two founders of Eace Gum Asbjørn Dencker and Ziggi Harttung's thoughts behind the new design for their vitamin chewing gum.
Why have you got a new design for your vitamin chewing gum?
"We will in the near future unveil some completely new and exciting products and have optimized our packaging design so that it fits the upcoming product portfolio under the concept "GUM+"" says Ziggi Harttung about their new design.
"In addition, we have optimized the design and made it even more clear what our delicious chewing gum can do, apart from just tasting good and giving fresh breath. As Jesper Buch said on national TV in the program Løvens Hule - it was a little difficult to see that it was chewing gum. The package has been turned around, and we have made it even more convenient by keeping it open at the top and bottom, so you can easily pick up a piece of chewing gum when you are on the go," adds Asbjørn Dencker.
Why have you chosen the colors that you have on your new packages?
"The colors on the package are still inspired by the color nuances found in nature, as contact with nature is a large part of our general well-being. The fresh colors refer to the fresh mint taste," says Ziggi Harttung about the colors of the new packaging.
Have you been inspired by something for your new design?
"We are inspired by our surroundings in Scandinavia, from the calm, beautiful nature to the colorful, exciting city life," says Ziggi Harttung.
What does your new design mean for your chewing gum?
Asbjørn Dencker makes it clear that the chewing gum itself has not changed, but that only the packaging has. "The products are still produced in Denmark and are of the absolute highest quality. You won't find better chewing gum on the market. But the packaging just got a new look," he says.
What do you think is the best thing about the new design?
"I think the functionality of the package being open on both sides is super smart - then the chewing gum is ready to pop on the go," says Asbjørn Dencker. "The new package is open at both ends, compared to the old package, which was closed at both ends," he says.
"Yes, I actually agree. And I also think that we've hit on a pretty cool look overall," adds Ziggi Harttung.
